I'm Zee, multifaceted and multidimensional. Please don't try to label me because I will not fit into your box. I'm a down-to-Earth, laid back, feisty, fun and energetic mama.

We are an earth friendly family meaning we care for the environment and how it's treated. We buy organic and try to put as little non natural things into our bodies as possible. We recycle and do what we can to help our Mother Earth (not littering, picking up garbage when you see it, composting when possible, buying earth friendly cleaning products, etc...)
We are nature lovers as well. We enjoy being outside as much as we can. Going to the ocean, hiking through redwoods, wading in the river, camping, skiing, you name it.
We love animals too, and currently have a dog, a cat, and fish.
About my skills...
I started sewing over 8 years ago when a wonderful, kind hearted woman loaned me her sewing machine. I took it home and with no manual, just verbal instructions and a quick tutorial from her. My first project was a strapless top; it was too small and nothing lined up right, but I was extremely excited and I never stopped sewing since then.
I now sew with an Elna sewing machine and my Juki serger. That dynamic duo helps me create professional clothing with more ease than with a sewing machine alone.
I was 12 when my mom taught me how to make basic crochet stitches. I eventually taught myself to make a hat and I was 'hooked'. Crocheting relaxes me and I love the freedom and versatility of it. From rugs to skirts to hats to bikinis, it's possible to crochet just about anything.
I have always been interested in organic and natural methods of taking care of my body, soul and mind. After I realized commercial skin care products contain chemicals that causes all sorts of allergic reactions, I decided to make my own organic herbal body goods. I use the highest quality 100% organic or wild crafted herbs I can find to heal and nourish the body. I add essential oils to stimulate the soul and the mind. My herbal body goods are healing and work wonders for everyone in your family, including the little ones.
A little more personal stuff about me...
I absolutely love singing and playing guitar. I also write my own songs... well I try to. Once I get through that writer's block then it's all good. I mostly write about love. I like to bang on my djembe too. And I spin poi.
I have a very strong interest in natural birth. I feel like that may lead to becoming a midwife a bit later. Childbirth is such a miraculous journey, I want to be a part of that. Whether it's having my own tribe of many children or being a doula by helping out at mama's births, I plan to be around it as much as I can.
These skills I learned - sewing, crocheting and making herbal body goods, playing guitar, building my website - are all self taught. I've never had any professional training, schooling or lessons. I learned what I know now from reading books upon books, researching on the internet and by the age old teacher of trial and error.

One last important ingredient I use is that special thing we all need called 'LOVE'.
I love using my hands to create beautiful, useful goods.
Love is put into every item created here along with good energy and happy intentions.
